나는 사원증을 지갑에 넣고 다닌다

I carry my employee ID in my wallet

출근하면 사원증을

When I go to work, I put my employee ID

지갑 맨 앞에 넣는다

in the front of my wallet

그리고 퇴근하면 사원증을

And when I get off work, I put my employee ID

지갑 맨 뒤에 넣는다

in the back of my wallet

이렇게 카드의 위치를 바꾸는 것이

I think changing the location of the card 

나의 직장인 on/off 스위치인 것 같다

like this is my on/off switch

 

회사 식당에서 깍두기는 셀프다

Kkakdugi is self-service in company restaurant

깍두기 담을 그릇을 올려두기 귀찮아서

I put kkakdugi on top of other side dishes

다른 반찬 위에 깍두기를 놓는다

bcuz I can't be bothered to put a bowl for it

그러다 보면 깍두기 한 두 개는 식판에 흘린다

Then, I spill 1~2 kkakdugi on the plate

 

오늘의 식사를 사진 찍어

I take a picture of today's meal

친구에게 공유한다

and share it with my friend

그러면 친구는

Then the friend looks at the kkakdugi

떨어진 깍두기를 보며,

that has fallen off,

더럽다고 나를 비난하지 않는다

he doesn't blame me for being dirty

깍두기는 넘쳐야 제 맛이지 라며 말해준다

Kkakdugi is delicious when it overflows

나를 이해해 주는 그런 친구가 좋다
